Diamond Qualities
Our
diamond stud earrings are available a variety of diamond qualities in both round brilliant cut diamonds and princess cut diamonds. Our high end diamond studs, with a “best” rating, display G-H color and VS clarity (very slightly included). To learn more about diamond color and clarity, please

Appraisal and Certificates
Diamond stud earring purchases over $1,000 will include a complimentary appraisal by a GIA graduate gemologist that will attest to the diamonds’ color, clarity, carat weight, setting and replacement value. An appraisal is provided for insurance purposes, and we encourage our clients to insure their jewelry in the event of loss or theft. Our GIA certified diamond stud earrings also come with the original GIA lab report for each diamond. The lab report is a third party independent certification that verifies diamond’s unique characteristics, including color and clarity.
Backing Options
We offer three backing options for these diamond earrings for women: push backs, screw backs, and la pousette backings. Push backs are the most common type on the market and simply slide onto the post. Screw backs have threaded posts, and the backing is screwed onto the post. La pousette, also known as protektor or protector backings or locking backs or even ear nuts, lock into grooves in the post and are released by pushing down two opposite ends of the backing.
Setting and Metal Types
The three most common setting styles for diamond stud earrings for women are offered here: four prong, three prong and bezel settings. Bezel setting is the most secure, followed by four prong and then three prong. Three prong settings, also referred to as martini settings, allow the most light to pass through the diamond by showing the least amount of metal. Four prong is the most traditional style of the three styles. We offer 14kt white or yellow gold for our non certified diamond studs. For our GIA certified diamond earrings, we offer 14kt gold, 18kt gold or platinum.
